This set of cards was issued to commerate the Fleet's arrival in California.  The cards included not only the Battleships, but the other Cruisers and auxillaries associated with the trip. Each card has created a different frame using ribbon, flowers, birds and horshoes as if the cover of a period scrap book.

I  recently received an email from the Great Granddaughter of Allan Fanjoy who provided some additional information regarding the cards.  Allan Fanjoy was a photographer from Canada and he and his wife, Margaret, divorced shortly after having a third child, a daughter.  His studio was operated in Ocean Park, California with his brother Charles.
