The above image shows the arrival of the fleet on April 18th. (back side) The fleet arrived in San Pedro on April 18th. The beaches were swarming with people, larger numbers than experienced in San Diego. The ships anchored in a single column in the outer harbor and the next morning, Easter Sunday, proceeded to various Los Angeles Ports, San Pedro, Long Beach, Santa Monica, and Redondo.
