No everyone was allowed to visit Egypt.  For each ship only 100 sailors were selected for the overland trip to the pyramids.  From this single card, not-canceled, I think George was not one of the lucky ones.

Athens, Greece

These cards are the best in the collection.  Missouri was one of the select ships to visit Athens.  As the fleet entered the Mediterranean it was divided four ways.  The Third Division was sent to Greece and Turkey.  On January 11th the Missouri and Ohio arrived to Athens and stayed to the 17th making these cards quite scarce.
