Postcards from Malta
As a collector, these are the first two photographs showing the fleet in Malta that I have found. The photos show the USS Wisconsin and the USS Kearsarge anchorge in the harbor. The photos were taken during the first days of the visit before the the third ship arrived, the USS Illinois. |

The Fleet's visit to Greece was limited to two ships Missouri and Ohio for one week between January 11th through the 18th making these scarce photos of the visit.

Fleet Maneuvering From These photos show the ships a fleet during maneuvers. These kind of exercises were practiced throughout the cruise and kept the watch teams operating at peak effecency. |
