Visiting Algeria

The USS Wisconsin was one of the four battleships that visited Algeria between January 21st and January 30th.  Previously my collection had been made up of photos during the visit.  This group of postcards provides a great set of images of Algers of 1908.

These two cards are the only Malta cards that I have found that can be linked to the fleet's visit.  The provide a nice addition to the photos I have collected..

Visiting Gibraltar and the Rock

This group of postcards should some of the public building, various views of the Rock of Gibraltar, and the harbor.  They provide a nice way to identify buildings and views that may be contained in the real photos in other parts of my collection.
